The same people who are in the room when we win your business, will be the same people who will be working on your business. We don’t delegate the responsibility of producing good advertising. We take this shit seriously.
Current clients should never pay for
new clients.
It takes a lot of time and money to develop and design ideas for free. We reserve that kind of attention to paying clients. We prefer our clients find us and not the other way around. And on that rare occasion when we do “pitch,” we keep things very simple with just enough high-level ideas to show you how we think.
Decks should never be bigger than the ideas in them.
It’s not the size of the deck that counts. When we’re building our presentations, we’re usually focused on how we can eliminate slides. Not add them. We want our creative ideas to be the hero. Not a bunch of 3-dimensional gantt charts. Less is always more.
We put audiences before clients.
Advertising is not a right. It’s a privilege. Our first duty is not to our clients or the old sales curve, it is to the audience. Advertising people like performs better than advertising people don’t like.
Data is just a guide. Not a dictator.
Research and data, when utilized correctly, give us the basis to create the work that connects with your audience. To us, data is just a guide. A starting point. Data can’t write a headline. But it can inform some really creative ones.
We don’t pretend to be something we’re not.
Most advertising agencies have forgotten what they are. They are trying to compete with consultants and data companies. And have stopped investing in creativity. We never say we can do it all. We never try and play the other guy’s game. We’re a creative agency. Everything else, aside from ideas you can get somewhere else.
We know what we do not know.
We believe we know more about advertising than any other agency. That being said, we also believe that our clients know more about their business than we will ever know. While we’ve been in the ad business for many years, we’re constantly learning. That’s what makes this business so exciting for us. It’s also what fuels our creativity.
